50/50 Draw for February took place last Friday and saw Lorraine Holden scoop winnings of €440, congratulations Lorraine. Volunteers the club is actively encouraging anybody who might be interested in helping out with our underage teams. Please contact Coaching Officer, David Connolly on 086 2517407 for further details.

U7’s & U9’s continue training Wednesday 6-7pm in Castleblayney College gym.

Any child born 2016 and 2017 looking to join our U7s can contact David 0862517407 for further details. U9’s coach is Paul 086 1964932.

U7 – 11th Mar 12-2pm

U9 – 18th Mar 12-2pm

U11 – 25th Mar 12-2pm

U11’s continue training on Monday nights in Castleblayney College gym from 7.30 – 8.30pm. €2 per child to cover cost of hall. Child to bring own hurl, helmet and water bottle. The boys enjoyed their 1st blitz of the year last Saturday in DKIT where there was great skill on display. Well done everyone!

U-13 training continues on Wednesdays in the Boys School Astro turf from 6-30 to 7-30.

We have entered an Ulster GAA indoor hurling blitz in Meadowbank Arena, Magherafelt on Saturday 4th March. More details to follow.

U15’s continue training from 6.30 to 7.30pm on Mondays at the Boys School Astro turf.

Monaghan Hurlers continued their winning ways last Sunday when they overcame Louth on a scoreline of 1-19 to 1-15 leaving them with maximum points, well done everyone. Next up is Mayo in Castlebar on Sunday 12th March.

Congratulations to Castleblayney Camogie Club who celebrated their 50th anniversary on Saturday at their juvenile presentation at The Glencarn Hotel.

Condolences to committee member, Eimear McCarthy and the extended McCarthy family on the passing of Eimear’s grandmother, Bernadette McCarthy, Navan, Co. Meath.  Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam.
