Castleblayney Hurling Club Notes 18th Nov 2024
Ulster Club Intermediate semi-final was postponed last week due to a bereavement in the Carey Faughs club. It has now been re-fixed to take place in Carrickmore, Co Tyrone on next Saturday 23rd November at 1.30pm. This is a big one for the club & we are hoping that people will travel in their numbers to support the team. Its an hour away, so see you all there on Saturday.
50/50 Draw Get yourself sorted for the November draw which takes place on Fri 29th Nov. There’s always a winner in the 50/50 draw. Condolences to the family of Margaret McShane, Monagor who was buried last week. Margaret is mam to Killian who played juvenile hurling with the club & grandmother of Alex who also played. Also sending our deepest sympathy to the family of Mary McGrath, Rathcoole whose grandchildren, Senan, Luke & Harry, juveniles in the club. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a n-anamacha.
