Castleblayney Hurling Club Notes 16th Sept 2024
U16’s League Win Congratulations to our U16 team & management who overcame a strong Carrick side to win on a scoreline of 3.15 to 2.15 on Monday evening in Cloghan. Blayney battled hard & came back every time & their hunger & skill on the night saw them through. Well done lads.
County Final has been set for Sunday week, 22nd September in Latton GAA 3.30pm. Opposition will be Inniskeen Grattans, last year’s champions, so expect a mighty tussle as our Seniors aim to win back the Mick Quigley Cup & Inniskeen go for back-to-back wins. Be there, be the extra man/woman!
Fan Wall As our Seniors prepare for the big match, we too can play our part. We are asking you to get your flags, streamers, bunting, whatever it is that is green & gold & paint your family & even your pets in the club colours, to show your support. Send your photo to the Club PRO via whatsapp 086 8388611. Please be aware that these photos will appear on the club’s social media & also on Monaghan GAA social media in the run up to County Final Day. Looking forward to your creativity!
