U14 Regional Féile took place in Longford last weekend, hosted by Clonguish GAA. Our team played the hosts, followed by Craanford, a Wexford team. Meeting very strong opposition, it was not to be our day but despite that the lads played their hearts out & gave it their all. The club would like to thank the following sponsors who made the trip possible; thanks to Eamonn Mallie, our main sponsor for the event; James Duffy of The Horseman, a long-standing sponsor of our Féile teams; Ray of The Mascot for sponsoring Freeze sprays for the team; John McGeough for the after meal in The Glencarn Hotel & lastly Eimear McCarthy for washing the jerseys & keeping the kit in good nick. Go raibh Míle maith agaibh go léir. We must also thank the management of Bernard Connor, Paddy Collins & Mark McMahon for all their hard work & effort with the lads, not forgetting our very supportive parents who were always on the line & finally anyone associated with the team. Despite the outcome, it was a wonderful experience for the boys. Well done to all.
Referee Best of luck to our new club referee, Paddy Collins, hope it all goes well for you Paddy.
