Juvenile Presentation 18th February 2024
At a packed auditorium in Iontas on Sunday evening, the enthusiastic & eager juveniles in our club were presented with their medals/certificates marking another hugely successful year for them.
Organized by Coaching Officer David Connolly, ably assisted by club Secretary Catherine Duffy & Marisa Duffy, Children’s officer & Safeguarding officer, the presentation ran very smoothly with Niall Garland, Lory Meagher Player of the Year, doing MC & Aaron Kenny, Senior team Captain presenting the medals. The following groups were part of the presentation: U7 & U9 2023, U11 2023 Monaghan League, U13 2023 Monaghan Championship & U15 2023 Monaghan League.
David Connolly thanked the sponsors, mentors, coaches & parents for all their help & support, while also acknowledging Castleblayney Faughs, Castleblayney College, Our Lady’s Secondary School & the Boys School for the use of their facilities. Finishing up, David, on behalf of the Coaching & Games Committee, thanked Clare McElroy for the medals, Crafty Owl Productions for the certificates, Ray & Dominic of The Mascot Castleblayney & Ardee, Hannah & the staff in Iontas & Glenn Murphy for their continued help & support.
The evening concluded with delicious food enjoyed by all.
Great to see these young people eager to get swinging the hurl again. Looking forward to another successful year.
