50/50 Draw takes place this Friday 27th. Ulster Junior Club Championship sees us take on the Antrim champions, St Brigid’s Cloughmills on Saturday 4th November at Ahoghill at 2pm. All support greatly appreciated.

U-15 Championship final against Carrickmacross takes place this Wednesday evening, venue & time to be confirmed.

Curry Night Thank you for all the support, our Curry Evening was a great success. Special thanks to the following: Joe Bishop, Pete McMahon Supervalu, McCaughey Foods, Brian McGuigan Crafty Owl for all the posters and signs, the Iontas crew of Darren, Brendan, Andy & Hannah, and to all our club volunteers & supporters, without you it would not have been possible. GRMA.

Clothing collection Thanks also to all those who contributed items and again to our volunteers who gave of their time over the course of the day. It is much appreciated.

Congratulations to our very own, Niall Garland, named on the half-forward line of the Irish News All Star team, a fantastic achievement for Niall and richly deserved. Well done Niall, we are extremely proud of this wonderful achievement, you were in very illustrious company!

Congratulations to our two representatives on the victorious Blackhill team, Hugh Byrne & Aaron Kenny who made their contribution in bringing the Liam Stirrat Cup to the Hill at the weekend. Swell done to all concerned.

Castleblayney College Hurling Well done to our club players who represented Castleblayney College recently in the Ulster U15.5 and U19.5 Schools hurling. The U15.5 team lost narrowly to St. Aidan’s Cootehill while the U19.5 team defeated St. Paul’s Bessbrook and St. Aidan’s Cootehill to progress to Quarter Finals of Casement Shield.

AGM is scheduled to take place on Fri 24th November in The Ash Room.

Junior Cert results congratulations to our club members who received their results last week, just deserts for all your hard work and sets you up for Senior cycle.

Condolences are extended to the family of Kathleen O’Byrne who passed away last week. Kathleen is mother-in-law of our Coaching Officer & Cultural Officer, David Connolly, mother to his wife Annamarie & grandmother to juvenile players, Fionn, Isla & Ellen. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.
