U-15 League Champions 2023
Our U-15 hurlers had a comprehensive win over Carrick on a score line of 3-12 to 0-4 at Monaghan GAA’s Centre of Excellence on Thursday evening, 3rd August. Played in testing weather conditions with the wind at our backs in the first half, we went into the break with a 5 point lead. Despite the rain and wind the boys stuck to their task and built on their lead. Relentless with pressure on the Carrick puc outs and determined to win every ball, an early goal in the second half calmed any nerves of the gap closing. The boys’ work rate was immense and they pushed on to a well-deserved win against our biggest local rivals. Next up is the championship in a few weeks where no doubt we will cross paths again!
