25th Anniversary of the Ulster and All Ireland Junior Hurling Championship the illustrious team of 1997 who won the All Ireland Junior Hurling Championship were acknowledged at the Monaghan GAA Awards last Saturday 21st January 2023. The following are the Blayney Hurlers who were part of that team: Stephen Marron RIP (Kitman), Ciaran Connolly (Captain), Tom Gillanders, Dessie Reilly, Noel McGuigan, Jarlath Denny, David Connolly, Padraig Kelly, Sean McKernan, Hugh Cullen, Paul Cunningham, Barry O’Reilly & David Lennon.
