50/50 Draw for January takes place at the end of the month. Follow your New Year’s resolution of being organised and sort yourself with an entry for the draw in good time! New Year Wishes the club would like to extend good wishes for health and happiness for 2023 to all our players, families, volunteers, sponsors and supporters at home and abroad, we hope 2023 will be good to you all.

Safeguarding 1 Workshop the club has organised a face to face GAA Safeguarding 1 Workshop on Thursday 19th January 7 – 10pm, to be held in our club room upstairs in the old Tech building. Please contact Marisa on 087 2160457 for further details.

Introduction to Gaelic Games Course is being delivered by Oisin McManus, Ulster GAA Hurling Development Officer in Carrickmacross on Saturday 21st January from 9am to 5pm. All coaches in the club need this qualification before coaching this year and all participants must have Safeguarding course completed. Follow the link below to apply for the course

Monaghan Coaching & Games are hosting a workshop titled ‘What are the key ingredients to manage a team’, delivered by Liam Sheedy on Sat 14th Jan in Cloghan 11 to 1pm, cost €5 per person. This is aimed at hurling & football coaches from U13 upwards and should be very informative. Please note change of DATE. Get in touch if you are interested in attending the course.

Garda vetting: Castleblayney Hurling Club is committed to the welfare and protection of all our members. As part of this commitment the club requires all coaches, training assistants and volunteers who are associated with our underage teams to comply with the legal requirement to have Garda vetting.
