Club Development Plan The club had a well attended workshop in St Mary’s Park on Sun evening last. Frank and open discussions took place in four groups, all of which was fed back to the main group. Going forward there will be another meeting for the people who volunteered in each section. The club would like to thank Raymond McHugh who is overseeing the process and also the facilitators within the club. A big thank you to all those who took time out and came along, we will see many of you at the next meetings to be arranged shortly.
Seniors Our reserve team narrowly missed out on a place in the semi-finals of the Mick Hannon Cup last Thursday. Despite a super performance and a comprehensive win over Truagh, we ended up losing out on scoring difference. The team are out this Tuesday 13th July against Middletown in the quarter final of the McCormack Cup. Keep an eye on social media and our club website for the result.
U-7s & U-9’s had their 2nd Go Games Blitz of the summer in last Sun, excellently hosted by Clontibret. Blayney had 4 x U-7 teams and 3 x U-9 teams. With games against Clontibret, Latton, Truagh, Monaghan, Carrick and Inniskeen, all our players had 4 games and enjoyed their morning immensely.
Get Well wishes to U-7 player, Ruadhán O’Brien, we hope to see him back on the field very soon.
